Apple Press Event Scheduled for May 1

According to a C|Net article “Apple event fuels speculation” the company has scheduled a press event headed by CEO Steve Jobs on 1 May 2001. “Apple CEO Steve Jobs and senior management will make some exciting announcements and host a Q&A.”
A quick glance at the schedule for the Flint Center in Cupertino reveals that it is unbooked on 1 May 2001. In all likelihood Apple will use the event to unveil new iBooks and iMacs. According to sources both the iBook and iMac will feature radical design departures from previous designs. Stay tuned for an iBook/iMac update on Monday.
