Fantom Drives announces a 25 GB USB hard drive at the suggested retail price of US$499. While specifications for the drive weren’t published, the 12 megabit per second USB bus is probably the bottleneck for hard drive speed.

The drive comes in the same boxy but blue case with a translucent white front that earlier Fantom USB hard drives have used.
