The good people at Griffin Technology posted version 1.1 of their iMate drivers this past weekend. Here are the changes in version 1.1:
Version 1.1 now supports the custom driver for the Logitech Trackman Marble trackball. It also provides far better support for other mice including the Apple Desktop Bus Mouse II. Type 2 mice such as Apple’s now support higher resolutions (200 DPI for the ADB Mouse II). This provides smoother and more accurate tracking than the default iMac or G3 mice (100 DPI). With version 1.1 third party mice that use the type 4 protocal may support even higher resolutions.
Version 1.1 is compatible with all tested ADB devices except the Discover Switch from Don Johnston Products (other Don Johnston products do work). Additionally it is incompatible with the Point Device software from MacAlly. This means the MacAlly two button mice, two button trackballs, and four button trackballs can only be used as single button mice.
