Thanks to NoBeige reader, Chip Russell, we have been informed that MacTell will carry Formac’s iMac SCSI card in the United States. Orders can be taken now for the “PowerDRIVE SCSI for the iMac” and it will likely ship during the first week of January. The card, including priority overnight shipping [for those who just can't wait], costs US$162.50.
The card does not reportedly come with any RAID software or RAID configurations. It simply gives Ultra Wide SCSI throughput through the Mezzanine slot of the iMac.
MacTell is also selling a ton of other iMac goodies at their online store. Be sure to take a gander at their iGame USB STandard Gameport Converter and iParallel USB Printer Adapter.
