MacWorks has released a new 400Mbps FireWire PC Card with Macintosh support. The RocketFire card is fully 1394a compliant and has been tested with hard drives from VST, Indigita, Yano, LaCie, and Orb. Sony I-link products and Epson FireWire printers are said to be fully comaptable as well. The card is available now at a price of US$149.

MacWorks also announced a new 2 port FireWire PCI card (US$139), a 6 port FireWire hub (US$249), and a 4 port FireWire/USB PCI card (US$179).
