1Password updated to 6.3.1 for OS X, 6.4.2 for iOS

1Password, AgileBits’ ubiquitous password manager, has been updated the version 6.3.1 for OS X and 6.4.2 for iOS.

1Password 6.3.1 for OS X offers the following fixes and changes:

Improved:
– Item sharing has returned with proper advice for sharing only over secure services.

– When first setting up 1Password the back buttons shown there now properly support VoiceOver.

– The password generator shown when first setting up 1Password now announces the number of words.

– VoiceOver no longer reads the image descriptions in sidebar categories or item list.

– We made it more clear how to sign out of an account in the “Accounts” preferences.

– Improved VoiceOver support in the 1Password Account login form so that the text fields are associated with their labels.


– Improved VoiceOver in the setup and welcome screens.

– Added VoiceOver support for the “Copy”, “Reveal”, “Large Type”, and “Open and Fill” menu items on the item details screen.

– Added VoiceOver support to the Large Type window.

– Updated our translations with the latest from our incredible translators on Crowdin.

Fixed:
– Fixed an issue where the Import window could select the wrong profile if it had the same name as another profile.

– Fixed a rare issue where some Logins were not properly matching to the current web page.

– Fixed an issue that could cause items with invalid created/updated timestamps from syncing with 1Password accounts.

– Removed VoiceOver interactivity for the ornamental image views on the login screen.

– Fixed an issue where vault switching in mini was not instantly mirrored in the main app if it was in the background.

1Password 6.4.2 for iOS offers the following fixes and changes:

Improvements:
– Item sharing has returned with proper advice for sharing only over secure services. {OPI-3536}

– References to 1Password Teams have been expanded to be inclusive of 1Password Families as well. {OPI-3488, OPI-3504, OPI-3493}

– VoiceOver now properly names the items in the tab bar as “tabs” instead of “buttons”. {OPI-3573}

– When editing an item VoiceOver now makes it clear how to edit how to edit the notes for that item. {OPI-3574}

– 1Browser’s User Agent options now represent the latest versions for each choice.

– Updated our translations with the latest from our incredible translators on Crowdin.

Fixed:
– Items can now be copied from a 1Password account that was frozen to other non-frozen vaults. {OPI-3157}

– We now support the “View Password History” permission for 1Password Teams accounts. {OPI-3411}

– Fixed an issue that could cause items with invalid created/updated timestamps from syncing with 1Password accounts. {OPM-4157}

– Fixed an issue where the “New Login” button in the extension was not visible for frozen accounts. {OPI-3547}

– Fixed a rare issue where some Logins were not properly matching to the current web page.

Requirements:
1Password 6.3.1 for OS X requires OS X 10.10 to install and run. 1Password 6.4.2 for iOS requires iOS 9.0 or later to install and run.

1Password 6.3.1 for OS X retails for $64.99 while 1Password 6.4.2 retails for $9.99.
