I just discovered a great flat bag at Banana Republic this weekend that fits my new iBook almost perfectly on sale for US$29. Since it’s luggage week at Go2Mac, I thought I would share my thoughts about the bag.

Go to Banana Republic.com, search for ‘Flat Nylon Bag.’ The retail price was US$48, now it is on sale for US$29
The iBook just fits in the main pouch. You have to slide it in straight with some care but it fits. The iBook then hangs vertically. Lots of pockets for a bag without a fold over and much more comfortable on my shoulder or over my chest than my old messenger bag ever was.
Since the bag is relatively small and vertically I feel compelled to mention that some men might have a problem with the bag coming off as a man purse. But if you’re comfortable in your manhood and don’t have tons of thick books and junk to lug around, this bag is definitely for you. I highly recommend it especially at this price.
