As Go2Mac reported, Apple is cutting prices on its flagship portable. Apple announced Friday prices on the Titanium PowerBook G4 are now starting at US$2,199 for the 400 MHz model and US$2,999 for the 500 MHz model, a price drop of $400 and $500 respectively, effective Saturday 25 August 2001. Apple has posted a full press release.
