Regular readers of these pages know that Apple sells discounted Macs to employees every quarter with a promotion affectionately called QPromo. This quarter’s version is a doozy.

The PowerBook G4 400 and 500 MHz have been added to the QPromo list at US$1759 and US$2399, respectively – US$440 and US$600 off the recently discounted Apple Store prices. The only problem is that you have to be an employee to take advantage of the offer.
