I was talking with a friend in Oregon about airport security. She mentioned that PDX was having difficulty dealing with the laptops being left behind. Apparently at one point they had some 1500 in Lost and Found. People would take them out and put them on the belt, then only pick up their luggage on the other end. I am guessing that this might have something to do with the personnel on the end handing back the laptops.
