Potential Exposure Opportunity for Apple?

While reading the latest on my San Francisco 49ers I came across an article that noted a pending change in their stadium sponsorship. The former Candlestick Park, now referred to as 3COM Park at Candlestick Point, may lose its sponsorship after this year.
It seems in these economic times that 3COM no longer considers paying $900,000 a year to have their name slapped on the side of a stadium as a sound investment.Anyway, why not Apple Stadium at Candlestick Point? (seems the folks in San Francisco are nostalgic about the former name) $1,000,000 a year, $250,000 per quarter, doesn’t seem so outlandish for Apple given its money stock.
They would get national exposure on television and such. The article also noted how 3COM outfitted the stadium with their products, such as a wireless food ordering system in luxury boxes. I’m sure Apple could think of something ridiculous like that. Giant product ads next to the scoreboard, Internet access in luxury boxes via Airport, iMacs decorated like ‘Niner helmets in kiosks and luxury boxes, product giveaways to the “lucky fan in seat 14D”. Tons of possibilities.
