iMac as Portable Computer?

Will the PowerPage have to start considering Apple’s new flat-panel iMac — a portable? It seems one of our favorite case manufacturers, Willow Design, today launched a case for the iMac. Don’t toss your iBook yet: the case alone weighs 8 lbs (3.6 kg) and don’t expect it to fit under the seat or even in an overhead bin on a plane! (Too bad — I was already envisioning a new “middle seat” ad involving the iMac!) While not much of an airline carry-on, the case looks useful for people who are occasionally packing their iMac: foam reinforced with plastic, form-fitting compartments for the computer, Pro Speakers, and other accessories, zippered paper pocket and flat panel pocket, Mountain bike grips, shoulder straps, and lifetime warranty for US$207, Cdn$320. It also fits the Apple Cinema Display for PowerBook G4 users who like to carry around a second monitor.
Bonus points for anyone who shows up at July’s Macworld PowerPage Class Photo with their iMac!
