Fire up your Software Update to get Airport X 2.0.2 for Mac OS X.
What’s new in this version:
- 128-bit Encryption
- Cisco LEAP client support
- AOL support
- Mac OS X support for joining a password-protected “Computer to Computer” network
- Better connections to some Internet service providers that use Point-to-Point Protocol over Ethernet (PPPoE) with a graphite base station
- Compatibility with Motorola Cybersurfer cable modems
- Improved password security
Product Description:
AirPort 2.0.2 software works with all versions of AirPort cards and base stations. If you are using AirPort 2.0 with earlier versions of the Apple AirPort Card and/or Apple AirPort Base Station, your hardware may be upgraded with new features and capabilities.
