This is for your phone maniacs out there. NEC just unveiled their Quad-band 65,000 color and Java mobile phone – the NEC 515.
The NEC GSM GPRS mobile handset (NEC 515), with its popular fold form design, will be demonstrated for the first time at CeBIT 2002. A high-end product with metalised casing and weighing only 100g, the 90cc NEC 515 is contemporary and easy to use.A highlight of the handset is its 2.2 inch 16 BIT screen, which displays 65,000 colours. Designed to enhance the icon-driven software, the screen can accommodate up to 14 lines of text.
GPRS compatible, the handset has a tri-browser that can manage CHTML, WML and XHTML Basic. A mobile services compliant handset, users will navigate the exclusively developed with www.NECmobile.com, where content will be downloaded.
