For those of us that are stuck with 9.2.2 for a while, what is:
- The fastest G4 released that boots from 9.2.2 and Mac OS X (1.25 Mhz dual mirrored?)
- The fastest TiBook released that boots from 9.2.2 and Mac OS X (1GHz?)
- What about iBooks, iMacs, etc.?
- Where are the best deals?
I like this thread because Mac OS 9 is going to be with us for a while – about 90 percent of the publishing market still uses QuarkXPress and I had to boot 9 yesterday to use the conferencing software from WebEx.com. I should also point out that PP sponsors SmallDog Electronics, Springboard Media (Philadelphia) and Tekserve (NYC) have some great deals on OS 9 Macs right now. -Ed
