Already, debate has heated up about pricing on the iTunes Music Store, both in and outside the music community. Competing services claim their unlimited monthly fees are a better option to Apple’s pricey .99 per song / $4.95 – $9.95 an album. Well, folks, we should have a great week of music coverage, including in-depth iTunes / iPod coverage as well as info on making your own music, as long as I can pull myself away from iTunes Music Store long enough to work on it — assuming credit card companies don’t pull me away first. RadTech makes cool PowerBook accessories. I was introduced to their products with the Wildeepz transparent silicone display cushion upgrade for my TiBook back in March of 2002. Wildeepz did a great job of making my TiBook feel more solid when latched closed by eliminating display chatter against the body of the PB. Wildeepz are available for theTiBook (15-inch) and iBook with models for the PB12 and 17 coming very soon. RadTech’s TiGlide ($US13-15) helped loosen my overly tight TiBook hinges at Macworld Expo NY 2002. Click Read More for the whole story…

Elecom, a Japanese maker of peripherals, has come out with beautifully designed USB mice that work out of the box with Macs (including the wheel). They are designed by the famous Shirow Masamune (creator of Ghost in the Shell, on which the Matrix was based) and Hajime Katoki (the current top designer at Bandai for the Gundam universe).
