Apple Revs iBook to 900MHz, 32MB VRAM

Today Apple quietly speed-bumped all iBooks to 900MHz except the entry-level US$999 model which stays at 800MHz and has a read-only CD-ROM. All iBooks now ship with an ATI Mobility Radeon 7500 video subsystem and 32MB DDR video memory.

Sony Ericsson P800It has been almost one month since taking delivery of my new Sony Ericsson P800 mobile phone and I wanted to post the first follow-up. If you haven’t already, you should read my first P800 article “Mobile Phone Nirvana.” The first article was written after about two days of actual (albeit intensive) use. Three plus solid weeks of real world use has given me a chance to look at some of the practical features and drawbacks of this cool phone.

Tungsten C Coming Soon

Someone on eBay got ahold of what they say is a Palm Tungsten C. The problem is that Palm hasn’t even announced the device. It’s not uncommon to see photos of a unannounced PDA, but I’ve never seen one actually FOR SALE. If you want to get in on the bidding, you better have a big budget – bidding is up to a cool US$800.
