I recently found a great home for my 12″ PowerBook in a bag that was never designed for this use… the Oakley Sand Bag!
The Oakley Sand Bag has a padded puch that fits the 12″ nearly perfectly, admittedly the zipper stretches around the corner just a tad, but it’s really OK. The bag is very comfortable wtih tons of space for extra stuff. There’s a detachable pouch for your cell phone, and it has a dedicated padded “music player” pocket (e.g. iPod) with a headphone pass-through, and several outside pockets for things like a water bottle, keys, etc…

It appears that support for 802.11g card for older PowerBooks will be
arriving in Panther but not officially before that. Check out the US$99.99 AL5402-XG adapterfrom Asante. The data sheet states that “Macintosh OS X Panther and later; no driver required.” …
