In-Flight iPod Power

I visited Tokyo last week and found Akihabara to be rather scaled down compared to the good old days (say 10 years ago), although there is a great deal of construction underway in the area.
On the Mac front, I found a very nice mini-mini charger for the iPod and a retractable cable for same. I have still not found anyone who makes an airline-to-iPod cable. It would NOT have to charge the iPod, just run it, like Madsonline’s Empower PowerBook does.
I would even pay to have one custom made using and existing docking cable and adding the Empower plug. I assume little if any electronics is required?

Sony Ericsson P910I am at a crossroads with my mobile phone coverage right now. The problem is that I love GSM on T-Mobile because of their cool phones, but I am getting a little tired of the spotty coverage area.
