Original Apple AirPort Cards Becoming Extinct

Apple AirPort Card 802.11bI checked everywhere and can’t find a new original AirPort card (802.11b) for sale. The prices on these elusive cards has doubled in the last two weeks. The Apple online store doesn’t have any and they are fetching as much as US$120 on eBay.
Small dog, MacConnection, MacMall, ClubMac, Apple Corte Madera and Bay Front retail stores, CDW, Marin Mac Shop, MacWireless.com, Fry’s/MacWarehouse, MacRepair, CompUSA and OWC have no AirPort cards.
