MacMod.com announced The Great Mod Challenge on August 1st to the delight of Mac modding enthusiasts worldwide. The event was the first of its kind to be held for Mac users and the resulting mods are nothing short of extraordinary.
Taking first place is the iPC, a Mac-to-PC conversion using a graphite iMac case, LCD display, and modified PC components. Winning 2nd place, most original and most user-friendly awards is the TikiMac; the design is so unique it must be seen to be appreciated. Rounding out the challenge in 3rd place is the Clear G3 Case mod which updates the look of a legacy G3 system with a custom molded acrylic case.
