Burton has released an excellent new product for integrating music with snowboarding gear. First they released the Amp jacket with on-sleeve iPod controls, then the Amp backpack, also with iPod integration. For the Fall/Winter season Burton has announced a Headphone Hat that will keep your head warm while you jam to tunes from your iPod. Apple today announced two new iPods:
The iPod Photo which features a 65K color display and iPhoto synching ability, the 40GB model is available for US$499 while the 60GB model sells for US$599.
The iPod U2 Special Edition which is black with a red click wheel. The iPod U2 sells for US$349 and only comes in 20GB (with a black and white display) and has the autographs of each U2 band member on the bottom. It also comes with an exclusive U2 poster and an iTunes Music Store coupon you can use to get $50 off your purchase of “The Complete U2.”
