The final 1.0 release of Firefox, Mozilla’s powerful cross-platform browser, is here — and, at least at press time, the mozilla.org server is gasping under the strain of hungry downloaders. You know what this means: it’s Browser Wars time again. This author was surprised to see Safari the overwhelming unanimous browser of choice at the O’Reilly OS X Conference, even despite mature versions of OmniWeb, Firefox, and Camino. I’ve been storing bookmarks online via spurl and switching back and forth and I certainly can’t decide. What’s your browser of choice? Sound off. Maybe by the time your comment is done the Mozilla server will be back in action.
