Krusell Multidapt Case for BlackBerry 7100 (Updated)
Krusell International AB produces and distributes unique Multidapt-equipped carrying cases for all kinds of portable electronics (PDAs, cameras) but most notably for mobile phones. I recently got one of their cases for the BlackBerry 7100t smartphone and totally love it.
The Krusell case is an "operate-in" case that completely covers the display and keypad of the 7100t with a clear window that allows you to operate it while inside the case. The areas that aren't clear are made of high quality buffalo leather and are designed to fit you phone snugly, like a glove.
Perhaps the single best feature of the Krusell cases is their Multidapt system which provides the best belt-clip implementation that I have seen. Everything is based on the "Multidapt-female" connector attached to the Krusell case. To this female you can attach any of Krusell's clips or swivel rings which are also compatible with their car and bike mounts. More information about the Multidapt system can be found on the Krusell Web site.
Occasionally the Krusell tag that's sewn onto the case can obscure the 7100t's scroll wheel but this is easily remedied with a pair of scissors. I still heartily recommend buying and wearing a wrist strap for optimal protection of your mobile investment.
Overall, I feel more confident using my phone when it's protected by a case and the Krusell Multidapt provides a great fit that doesn't take away from the look of the phone. If you want a case that will provide ample protection and looks great, check out the Krusell Multidapt system (US$24.99 for the 7100t model) at your local telecom shop. In the U.S. you can find Krusell Multidapt cases at J&R Music World, Gadget Freeks, eBay and other fine retailers.
