Without question my new favorite phone is the BlackBerry 7100t, I can’t go anywhere without it and am totally hooked on having my email available to me at all times. And unlike other phones where the novelty kind of wears off after a couple of weeks, I still use most of the data functions all of the time – even after having it for more than 60 days. They call it a Crackberry for a reason!
So when I found out there was a Texas Hold’Em game available for the BB – look out. I originally panned the first version of Magmic’s Texas Hold’em King (US$6.95) for hard-to-read cards but word is that version 2 is coming out real soon now. Game play is reported to be much improved with better AI and the ability to play with your friends in real-time. If you buy version 1 now you’ll get a free upgrade to Texas Hold’em King 2. Magmic is also giving away three iPod shuffles in their second Texas Hold’em King tournament. Competition is already fierce with over 300 participants. If you’re into BlackBerry games check out the rest of Magmic’s offerings, including the newly released Pro Golf Paradise and Outbreak Control. Both can be installed directly on your BB Over The Air (OTA) by entering these URLs in your BB.
