While silicone skins for the iPod are nothing new, our friends at Speck Products have turned it up a notch with their new ToughSkin iPod skins. Unlike normal iPod skins that only provide a thin layer of protection, ToughSkins have thicker silicone padding around the high impact corners and include covers for the screen and click-wheel. ToughSkins are made from tear-resistant Kraton plastic and come in five colors: blue, red, black, clear and orange. US$34.95 from Speck Products.
