Mike Perlman writes: “What’s the difference between the Moto and Nokia phones? Why doesn’t Apple make iTunes for Symbian? The difference between Nokia(Symbian) and other players is that the music is played from an app running on an OS and not a purpose built device. So what’s the problem? Apple should have seen this coming. As long as it isn’t tied to a closed system (ie Apple/iTunes/iPod) Anyone can take advantage of the device, no. Best to cannabalize one’s sales then let someone else steal them.”
