After a few false starts I have finally got a working Vista up and running on my MBP. This is assuming you already have a working copy of XP installed using BootCamp. Here is what I did:

The 8GB Hard Drive Walkman MP3 Player NW-A1200 priced at $199.95 is ready for pre-order. Expected ship date is around the July 20th. At this price for 8GB – it may be a better deal than a nano!
In addition to the cool organic form factor (available in blue or pink) the display really catches my eye. It’s a 1.5 display that seems to float above the surface.
Check out the specs here.

So I’ve been following this since it was rumored… GOOGLE Checkout and now it is finally here.
Rival Paypal has had incrediable market success and it was only time till a new competitor jumped into the fray and who better than Google? What are the costs associated? Merchants are charged a fee of 20 cents per transaction as well 2.2 percent of the purchase price (PAYPAL has a 30 cent per transaction fee and 2.9 percent of the purchase price as a standard rate).
Verdict is still out but if anyone out there has used this new service chime in with a few comments.

MBP-trackpad.gif A nice little bonus arrive with yesterday’s release of Mac 10.4.7: two-finger right clicking for 15-inch MacBook Pro owners. Originally reported at TUAW Apple’s 113MB update for OS X included this nice little feature for MacBook Pro users that previously had to install a hack to get the functionality.

There have been pictures of white MacBooks with “oil” residue from
hands resting on the notebook, and I can see small spots where this
could eventually evolve into something nasty on mine.
Enter
the Marware Protection pack for the white or black MacBook. It includes
a wrist rest and a microfiber laptop keyboard cover. It says that it
leaves no residue when removing. Sounds like the perfect solution.

AppleInsider is reporting that Apple is replacing some discolored MacBooks:
Some Apple MacBook owners who have seen portions of their shiny white notebooks discolor prematurely are finding success in getting those machines repaired.
According to AppleCare support representatives, Apple has been investigating the matter but has not been able to determine the source of the problem.
Nevertheless, the company’s support divisions in some regions have been offering to replace affected MacBook enclosures with few questions asked. Customers are typically sent an Apple case number and the necessary materials to ship their notebooks to Apple’s repair depot.

Adobe released Flash Player 9, it’s smaller and easier to download but it’s only for PPC Macs at the moment. A preview release for Intel-based Macs is here.
The new player renders up to 10 times faster, has a rebuilt Virtual Machine and makes it easier to build Web applications with Flex 2. Sadly Flex 2 is not OS X ready… will it ever be ported?
