PPUG Meets in Philadelphia Tomorrow

The nations first PowerBook user group – The Philadelphia PowerBook Users Group (PPUG) – will hold its 2006 Autumn meeting on Saturday 28 October 2006. The meeting takes place from 12 noon to 3pm in the downstairs banquet room of the Manayunk Brewing Company in Philadelphia.

I will be making a feature presentation on the new Core 2 Duo MacBook Pro and (inventory willing) will bring a spankin’ new 2.33GHz MBP to show and tell. Also appearing will be PowerPage Podcast regulars (and PPUG fixtures) Rob Parker, Bob Snow and Youngmoo Kim.
Topics will include: the new Core 2 Duo MacBook Pro, Mac OS 10.5 Leopard, new iPods, iTunes 7, as well as a host of other mobile technology topics. We also do a stump the experts session and end with a mini swap meet – so bring some gear to sell or trade.
