Zune install screen raises eyebrows

Best Buy put the Zune on sale earlier than it should have — the Zune’s supposed to be released in the U.S. next Tuesday — and some people took advantage of that to get their Zune early. Not everyone had as much fun with it, however, as one person reported a crashing installation sequence of the Zune software, and added various screenshots of the install routine. The crash screen itself is, well, questionable at best — in terrible taste at worst.

iTunes Considering Crediting Track Sales Toward Album

A source tells CNET News.com that Apple Computer and the record labels are onto this. Supposedly, iTunes customers may soon be able to buy the album and get credit for any single tracks they have bought.
