On Tuesday Lexar released the Mac OS X and Windows versions of Image Rescue 3 (the site has yet to be updated and currently only show information for Image Rescue 2), an image recovery utility for data recovery on flash cards. The program is compatible with any flash card regardless of memory card format and the can be used to recover data such as movies and music files according to Macworld News.
Image Rescue 3 retails for US$29.95 and ships bundled with the company’s Professional and Platinum II CompactFlash models as well as its Secure Digital and Secure Digital High Capacity memory cards.
