On Friday, Apple released iTunes version 7.1.1, a patch version which addresses stability issues within iTunes 7.1 as well as what the company terms “minor” compatibility issues with that version of the software. The patch also addresses various bugs within the recently-released Windows Vista operating system, Apple working closely with Microsoft to resolve various issues between the two products.
This month, Apple released iTunes 7.1, which added support for Apple’s upcoming Apple TV device, due out sometime this month. The 7.1 version also added Cover Flow and improved sorting options for tracks currently on file according to Macworld News.
iTunes 7.1.1 is a 27.4 megabyte download and requires Mac OS X 10.3.9 or later, a 500 MHz G3, G4, G5 or Intel-based processor and 256 megabytes of RAM to run. The software is available for free and can also be snagged via Mac OS X’s built in Software Update feature.
