The iPod line might be about to take a turn in a new direction. A patent filed with the United States Patent and Trademark Office on January 5th reveals that Apple is looking to create a handheld device that uses both a small front-side display but receives input through a touch and force-sensitive back-side interface.
Such a device, as described in the patent, would allow for a wider amount of the display to be used to show information while the second display could be exclusively utilitzed for data input, according to an article on AppleInsider.
