On Wednesday, software maker JoeSoft released version 1.0.1 of Jax, its iTunes plug-in application. Jax, which retails for US$49.95, allows users to perform actions such as loading YouTube videos into iTunes to be played back on a video iPod, Apple TV or iPhone, dig up information on performers via Music Map, customize album covers, use new iTunes visualizers and locate song lyrics.
Jax 1.0.1 incorporates the following changes and fixes:
-Overall improved performance and stability.
-Support for iTunes 7.3.2.
-Video conversion support for iPhone.
-Updated “BeComposed” visualizer.
-Previewing songs from “Artists” tab in “Music Map” has been fixed.
Jax 1.0.1 is a 23.1 megabyte download (courtesy of VersionTracker) and requires Mac OS X 10.4 or later and iTunes 6.4 or later.
