New Pennsylvania Store Opening - Lehigh Valley Mall

Apple is opening their fifth Pennsylvania retail store this weekend in Whitehall, PA.  Whitehall is adjacent to Allentown, PA and while hardly a major metropolitan area, the Lehigh Valley of Pennsylvania has become a bedroom community for New York City. It's curious why Apple didn't chose Harrisburg, PA for their next Apple retail store though. It's the state capital and only about 80 miles west. Apple already has two stores in the Philadelphia area (Ardmore, PA and King of Prussia, PA) and two in Pittsburgh (Shadyside and South Hills Village). Mad props to all of our peeps in PA. Send us your pics.

Apple has scheduled the grand opening of the Lehigh Valley Mall (Whitehall) retail store for this Saturday, September 29th at 10 a.m. It’s the fifth store in the state, and the first beyond the Pittsburgh and Philadelphia metro areas.
