Holt Renfrew Won't Be Carrying iPhone in Canada
Canadian customers looking to snag an iPhone may have to look a little harder for the handset. The guys over at Digital Journal have just received word from Mario Manza, Executive Director of VIP Services for the Holt Renfrew department store chain, that the retailer won't be carrying the iPhone in the short term.
Manza apologized for any misinformation regarding the topic on behalf of his company, which has been reported as quoting a price of $799 Canadian dollars for the iPhone as of Friday, October 4th.
Current call attempts seem to be yielding Holt Renfew employees stating that the chain won't be receiving the iPhone anytime soon, thereby quashing the rumor.
Stay tuned to the PowerPage for additional news on the iPhone's Canadian release and if you have two cents to add, let us know over in the comments and forums.
