Apple Store Updated: Pink iPod Nano Now Available

Following up on the mystery as to why Apple's online store was down this morning, the company has introduced a brand new, pink version of its eight gigabyte third generation iPod nano digital media player. Like the other nano units, the device can play music, games and videos, including rental movies from the iTunes Store and retails for US$199. According to Macworld, the pink model uses an identical anodized aluminum chassis as the other iPod nano models, which are available in silver, black, blue, green and red.

Greg Joswiak, Apple's vice president of worldwide iPod product marketing, said the new model has been introduced for spring, and to appeal to customers looking for a special Valentine's Day gift.

So...it's pink. And if you like the color pink and the iPod nano, this is for you.
