iPhone Coming to Canada?
This afternoon, I received a call from a customer rep from my cell phone provider, FIDO in Canada. The call began with the typical survey questions, and when my response that there service was not in the top percentiles, they began to offer me a number of inducements to re-up. Free phone, discounts on the service, cash - all the goodies.
When I told them that I wasn't interested in the offer as I was waiting for the iPhone to arrive in Canada before I looked at any new phones or services. The rep responded that her supervisor told her that the iPhone was coming soon, and that any service changes when getting it would be acceptable and I would retain the discounts they were offering today.
I wonder if we'll see something, say, next Tuesday?
