PowerPage Podcast Episode 65

PowerPage Podcast LogoEpisode 65 of the PowerPage Podcast is now available. You can either download it from the iTunes Store or directly (1:15'39, 26.58MB, AAC).

Your panel: Jason O'Grady, Rob Parker and Youngmoo Kim.

Topics include: Jason's new iPhone, iPhone firmware 1.1.3, 1900 MHz GSM booster, DVD ripping strategies, Hitachi's 500GB 2.5-inch hard drive, what we want from Apple in 2008 and your hosts play 'What's on Your Mac?'

What's on your Mac?:
Rob:
- AppCleaner is a small freeware application which allows you to completely and properly uninstall unwanted apps.
- Shades cases for iPod. A great case that fully protects the iPod and is so thin that you forget that its actually there.

Youngmoo:
MacGourmet 2. It's like iTunes for your recipes!

Jason:
- LG's Voyager phone. It's not the iPhone, but Verizon hasn't been sleeping and has this dual screen ditty to show for it. And a better network. And 3G networking.

- WiebeTech's RTX 100-SJ TrayFree SATA drive enclosure. WiebeTech's TrayFree bays are easy to add a drive to. Just open the door, sliding the drive in and close the door.

What's with the new Podcast icon. I didn't notice the change when you went to it in Episode 64 because it was using the PowerPage Orange tones but the Blue and Black really made the changes obvious (I went back thru the episodes to find when it changed). Any symbolism indicated with the sleeping Liberty Bell?
