Tips Posted to Help Prevent iPhone Crashes
The iPhone is nifty, there's no getting around that. But like any electronic device, there can be problems. The unit can crash on occasion, especially in cases where unsupported third party applications have been installed (ahem).
The guys at iPhone Atlas have offered the following tips as to how to make the device generally more stable and reliable:
-Keep a fair amount of disk space free.
-Don't run Safari while playing music with the iPod application.
-In the Settings screen, tap General and turn Auto-Lock to "Never."
-In the Settings screen, tap Brightness and turn Auto-Brightness off.
If this works for you or you've found another good solution for helping to keep your iPhone up and running, let us know over in the comments or forums.
