Adium X Reaches 1.2.3
Adium, the open source instant message chat client with support for multiple programs (including AOL Instant Messenger, ICQ, Jabber, MSN, Yahoo! Google Talk, Bonjour, etc.) has been updated to version 1.2.3.
The new version, a 20 megabyte download, adds the following fixes and changes:
-Fixed logging in for certain Yahoo! Messenger accounts.
-Fixed opening chats when using certain message styles (#9224).
-Fixed sizing of the message entry field (#8701).
-Improved XMPP account reconnections after an SSL handshake fails (#9214).
-Optimized drawing of tabs when on the side of the window.
-Fixed enabling of the Add button in the Add Contact window when adding from the Apple Address Book (#9260).
-We now treat 'Busy' as 'Do Not Disturb' for XMPP accounts (#9051).
-Catalan and Russian translation updates.
Adium X is available for free and requires Mac OS X 10.4 or later to run. The program functions as a Universal Binary and runs at native speeds on both PowerPC and Intel-based hardware.
If you've tried the new build and have any feedback, positive or negative, let us know in the comments or forums.
