iFixIt Conducts Take-Apart of MacBook Air Laptop

It's February 1st, the day a fair number of us are scheduled to get our MacBook Air laptops and the one thing that Apple has declared pretty much verboten is to go taking yours apart.

The takeapart adds to the collection of free FixIt Guides available for Apple laptops, iPods and the iPhone which can be found at www.iFixit.com/Guide.

That being said, the guys at iFixIt have published a first look/takeapart of the MacBook Air, complete with high resolution footage of the laptop's internal components, such as the 5mm 1.8" PATA Samsung hard drive, easily swapped out battery and identical Broadcom BCM5974 touch controller chip as found on the unit's trackpad.

Take a gander and if you've gotten your hands on your new MacBook Air or discovered anything new about it that you didn't know before, let us know in the comments or forums.
