New MacBook, MacBook Pro Laptops Arrive

On Tuesday, after weeks of speculation, Apple released the latest version of its MacBook and MacBook Pro laptops.

The changes for the MacBook line are as follows:

MacBook (US$1,099) - white
-2.1 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
-1 GB 667MHz DDR2 SDRAM - 2x512MB
-120 GB Serial ATA Drive @ 5400 rpm
-Combo Drive (DVD-ROM/CD-RW)
-AirPort Extreme Card & Bluetooth

MacBook (US$1,299) - white
-2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
-2 GB 667MHz DDR2 SDRAM - 2x1GB
-160 GB Serial ATA Drive @ 5400 rpm
-SuperDrive 8x (DVD±R DL/DVD±RW/CD-RW)
-AirPort Extreme Card & Bluetooth

MacBook (US$1,499) - black
-2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
-2 GB 667 DDR2 SDRAM - 2x1GB
-250 GB Serial ATA Drive @ 5400 rpm
-SuperDrive 8x (DVD±R DL/DVD±RW/CD-RW)
-AirPort Extreme Card & Bluetooth

The updated MacBook Pro configurations are as follows:

-200 GB Serial ATA Drive @ 5400 rpm
-Backlit Keyboard
-SuperDrive 8x (DVD±R DL/DVD±RW/CD-RW)
-2 GB 667MHz DDR2 SDRAM - 2x1GB

MacBook Pro (US$2,499) - 15"
-2.5 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
-2 GB 667MHz DDR2 SDRAM - 2x1GB
-250 GB Serial ATA @ 5400 rpm
-SuperDrive 8X (DVD±R DL/DVD±RW/CD-RW)
-Backlit Keyboard
-Scalable up to 2.6 GHz for an additional US$250

MacBook Pro (US$2,799) - 17"
-2.5 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
-SuperDrive 8x (DVD±R DL/DVD±RW/CD-RW)
-2 GB 667MHz DDR2 SDRAM - 2x1GB
-250 GB Serial ATA @ 5400 rpm
-Backlit Keyboard
-Scalable up to 2.6 GHz for an additional US$250

Additional build-to-order options include the ability to upgrade to four gigabytes of RAM, choose a larger hard drive, include a USB modem, Apple Remote, MagSafe Airline Adapter, AppleCare Protection Plan and Mini-DVI to VGA and Mini-DVI to DVI adapter.

The new models also feature multi-touch trackpads and are stated to ship within 24 hours.

I dont understand how the graphics cards were changes, except for additional memory. Anyone know?
