Rogue Amoeba Releases Airfoil 3.1
On Wednesday, software company Rogue Amobea released version 3.1 of Airfoil, its utility for streaming audio to simultaneously stream audio to one or more AirPort Express units.
The new version, a 9.5 megabyte download, adds the following features and fixes:
-Now supports transmitting audio to the Apple TV!
-Now fully supports Airfoil Speakers for Windows.
-Fixed DVD playback broken by Mac OS X 10.5.2.
-Improved performance on low-end machines.
-Improved compatibility with Front Row.
-Updated Instant Hijack to version 2.0.2.
-Many other minor fixes and improvements.
Airfoil 3.1 retails for a US$25 shareware registration fee and requires Mac OS X 10.4 to run.
