Rumor: iPhone Flash Support to Arrive Soon
iPhone users have wanted full Flash support on the handset since...well...it was released. And to be fair, even YouTube had to convert a fair amount of its library to an H.264 format for the iPhone to access it.
The guys over at the GearLive blog have just received word from a source close to the project that Flash support is en route for the iPhone and iPod touch and should be coming "very, very soon."
Other speculation has emerged that Flash support will arrive alongside the release of the long-awaited software development kit for the iPhone and iPod touch, but sources have cited that the delay has been due to business negotiations.
Stay tuned for additional details as they emerge and let us know what you think over in the comments or forums.
