Apple Releases Safari 3.1 Web Browser
On Tuesday, Apple released version 3.1 of its Safari web browser. The new version, which weighs in at about a 39 megabyte download, offers the following changes and fixes:
-Stability, compatibility, JavaScript performance and security updates/improvements.
-HTML 5 audio and video tag support.
-CSS Animation support.
-CSS Web Font support.
The update is available through Mac OS X's built-in Software Update feature and requires Mac OS X 10.4 or later to install and run.
