Thanks again for the up date on the AirPort Extreme Air disk updates ..

I had initially though this would be a great option for network storage but was weirded out by the odd lack of knowledge at the Apple store & online etc. The approximate 250 gig limit mentioned on the podcast saved me a lot of hassle ..

After looking into AirPort Extreme Air disk & Time Machine as well issues seem to mostly be with the seems inherent flakiness & instability of USB drives in general ..

Time machine seems to be a nice Complement to other back up solutions Carbon Copy Cloner & Super Duper ..

Yea Time Machine great to find that file you deleted yesterday or last week but as a total solution no way no how

Being able to have a bootable back up & not to mention a drive that could be used to restore or migrate in just a couple of hours , What would take Time Machine days if not more ..
