Rumor: Next-Gen iPhone to Feature 3G Support, Video Chat Camera

iphone3.jpg

It came from Rumorville, so it must be true:

According to MacRumors, Digg.com founder Kevin Rose claims to have heard rumors that Apple's next generation of iPhone will be 3G-capable and also feature a second camera on the front of the unit to be used for video chatting.

Cool stuff, even if rumors are a turkey shoot. 3G for the iPhone has been mentioned (and demanded) over and over again and a second camera would be an original idea, to say the least.

You'll just have to wait and see, but if you've heard anything cool or interesting about the future iPhone, let us know over in the comments or forums.

Not at all. In Europe, almost all 3G phones have a second front camera for Video calls. See the SE K610i for just one example.
