We're catching up here, so mind the dust.

On Wednesday, Apple released updates to its iTunes, QuickTime and Front Row applications.

According to Macworld, iTunes 7.6.2 "provides bug fixes to improve stability and performance" while Front Row 2.1.3 "provides improved iTunes 7.6.2 compatibility."

The QuickTime 7.4.5 update includes fixes that enhance reliability, improve compatibility with third-party applications, and address security issues,”, patching 11 security holes and repairing a variety of problems that could have allowed malicious code to be executed under QuickTime. Apple credited identification of more than half of the problems fixed in the update to TippingPoint, a security vendor which runs the Zero Day Initiative and rewards researchers for discovering vulnerabilities.

Like most software updates, users can easily find, download and install appropriate updates via Mac OS X's Software Update feature.

If you've downloaded the new updates and noticed any changes, positive or negative, please let us know in the comments or forums.
