The Apple Core: FirmTek Releases FireWire, eSATA Hub for MacBook Air and Other Models
It's not the be-all and end-all, but it could be interesting.
Late Monday at the NAB expo, FirmTek announced the release of its SeriTek/SpyderHUB, a four ounce storage hub for FireWire and eSATA drives. Per its spec sheet, the device will allow for features such as booting and hardware striping and can connect to a Mac via either a USB 2.0 or FireWire 800 connection.
Kind of a neat thing for MacBook Air owners and writer David Morgenstern has the full details over at The Apple Core...
If you've found an ideal breakout box for your MacBook Air, let us know over in the comments or forums.
